Offices.
Centre for Medical Technologies & Innovations (CMTi)
The NHG Centre for Medical Technologies & Innovations (CMTi) plays an integral role in the innovation ecosystem to help facilitate the development of innovative MedTech solutions that can address unmet healthcare needs and contribute to improved patient and healthcare outcomes. This is achieved through a structured framework that includes funding, talent development, and partnerships with academic and industry leaders.

Clinician-Scientist Development Office (CSDO)
The NHG Clinician Scientist Development Office (CSDO) facilitates and supports research in NHG by providing holistic support to nurture and develop clinician scientists and innovators, clinical researchers and research administrators in NHG; cultivate research culture through a critical mass of talents; and groom the next generation of research leaders and mentors.
Collaborating with academic and research institutions, our efforts strengthen the national pool of clinician scientists and innovators who in turn bring scientific research from the bench to beside.

Office of Human Research Protection Programme (OHRPP)
The NHG Office of Human Research Protection Programme (OHRPP) ensures the ethical conduct of human research by overseeing ethics reviews, providing researcher education, and monitoring compliance with regulations. The OHRPP is dedicated to protecting the rights and safety of research participants, maintaining high standards through international accreditation. OHRPP also engages in public outreach to promote awareness and understanding of participant rights in research. This commitment supports the ethical and effective conduct of research within NHG.

Research Administration Office (RAO)
The Research Administration Office (RAO) supports all offices and units under GRI as the key liaison for research finance matters. In addition, RAO renders other administrative and technology support, such as reporting cluster's notable research and innovation KPIs/achievements; facilitating Clinical Trial (CT) related functions with internal and external stakeholders; serving as Secretariat for strategic committees; and providing technology support to develop digital solutions to enhance productive and efficiency.
Translational Research Office (TRO)
The Translational Research Office (TRO), a part of the Group Research & Innovation (GRI) in the National Healthcare Group (NHG), facilitates and supports translational research initiatives and activities at NHG. TRO works closely with partners within and across the ecosystem, including the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, to establish joint institutes, programmes, and projects that leverage the clinical strengths of NHG and complementary capabilities of our partners. TRO also works with internal and external stakeholders to support the management of research agreements, internal/joint grants and funding, as well as intellectual property (IP) developed by NHG staff. These in turn enable and facilitate the generation of new knowledge and insights towards better prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases, as well as maintenance of health, in alignment with NHG’s vision and mission.
